Last May we wrote about meeting the most interesting writer Sergei Terentyevich Aksentiev and his fascinating book “Secrets of Old Lighthouses,” which was published in a meager edition of 100 copies.
Perhaps someone is familiar with his work from the article “Diamond over Ruby” about the Inkerman beacons in the latest issue of the magazine “Captain Club” No. 5, 2011
Unfortunately, the book has already sold out, which is not surprising, and the author is constantly receiving questions about where it can be purchased. On my own behalf, I can say that such an interesting book about lighthouses, including Russia, has not been published for a long time and of course I would like it to be republished.
Perhaps you will have constructive suggestions or people you know who have contacts with publishers potentially interested in reprinting. Please send your suggestions to [email protected], and I will then pass them on to Sergei Terentyevich.
