LUX Light Archive does not sell visitor data, build behavioural profiles, or personalize heritage discovery from browsing history.

What we may measure

Indexed publish packages may enable a same-origin first-party observation channel. It records only anonymous aggregate events that help operators understand whether Journeys, evidence links, and uncertainty sections are usable. Events never change ranking, search order, or gold-record selection.

Each event may include the public page path, an optional Journey id, a coarse mode label, a short target fragment, and a timestamp. No visitor or browser session identifier is generated or sent.

What we do not collect

No third-party advertising or profiling SDKs (no gtag, Plausible, or Fathom).
No fingerprinting, child profiles, or account identity.
No free-text form contents in the observation channel.
No IP address storage in the product observation log.

Retention

Aggregate observation counters are retained for at most 90 days when a collector binding is configured. Counters use eventually consistent storage and are directional product signals, not exact accounting. Review and noindex packages keep observation disabled.
