Roter Sand beacon model with 3 light signal modes

The peculiarity of this model was the presence of 3 switchable light signal modes, switchable using one button (it also turns off). Electronics and firmware were ordered from another manufacturer to meet our requirements.

• imitation of rotation of the lantern (the brightness of the source changes according to a certain algorithm, creating the illusion of rotation).

• imitation of the rotation of a flashlight with the effect of inertia of an incandescent lamp (in this case, the attenuation of the source occurs more smoothly)

• an exact copy of the characteristics of the light code of the lighthouse Minots Ledge (MA), also known as the Lover's Lighthouse with the light code 1-4-3 - the number of letters in the phrase I LOVE YOU.

The model is completely autonomous and is powered by standard batteries (this was also our desire; we refused the button batteries that the lighthouse manufacturer offered - in fact, he only made the body and distributed our assembled electronics according to the model).

At the same time, the electrical part of the model was developed taking into account the requirement for long-term autonomy of the model without replacing batteries, which was also successfully implemented.

The peculiarity of the model is special algorithms for changing brightness, exact repetition of the light code.

Unfortunately, when the main video is published on YouTube, the signal change in some places does not look smooth, as in fact the peculiarities in the compression of the video affected it. Therefore, we have made a playlist (see below) in which you can watch all the individual videos with operating modes.
